1928 "Steve Barrell Inc." was born in San Francisco, specialized in the retail of high
quality garment for man.
1932 "Ken Wilson & Co." was born in London, specialized in fabrics trading and research.
1947 "Steve Barrell Inc." widen its offer starting the sale of woman clothing in some of
its stores on the West Coast.
1950 "Ken Wilson & Co." becomes the major fabrics supplier of "Steve Barrell Inc."
1956 "Ken Wilson & Co." and "Steve Barrell Inc." merge in the new "KEN BARRELL" with
main seat in New York... Main purpose is to offer the customer a brand new, high quality
product of great style at a competitive price, able to be identified not only with an
original product, but to be considered as a real new lifestyle.
1963 The opening of new stores in the main towns of the East Coast starts.
1989 "KEN BARRELL" is handed over a leading company in U.K., which revised imagine and
product.
1998 The leading company in U.K. is bought by a U.S.A. multinational company, which
dismembers its essence, selling all garment lines owned by the company.
1999 "KEN BARRELL" is taken over from a dynamic Italian trader, which recreates the
Corporate ID and retakes the old purposes: to offer brand new, high
quality items at
competitive prices.
TODAY "KEN BARRELL" is present nowadays on many Italian markets, proposing a young
fashion placed between stylish and sports, a style which is at the same time refined and
simple; an innovating imagine, the eye always alert on fashion evolution, fabrics
quality and refinement together with a wide colours assortment, appropriate joinings and
consonances complete the offer. Not only man and woman clothing, but also many
